Tis noticed how Shakespeare makes much ado with the play of words when it comes to love, lust and sexual puns. Here, lets discuss what you know or have heard in Shakespeare plays .What do you make of this.
One that is familiar to me and comes to mind on how drink may spoil an erection or standing to is that in Macbeth Act 2,Scene 3,"Lechery, sir, it provokes, and unprovokes; it provokes the desire, but it takes away the performance. Therefore much drink may be said to be an equivocator with lechery: it makes him, and it mars him; it sets him on, and it takes him off; it persuades him, and disheartens him; makes him stand to, and not stand to; in conclusion, equivocates him in a sleep, and, giving him the lie, leaves him".

Hamlet passed an erotic comment to Ophelia in this quote:

HAMLET
Lady, shall I lie in your lap?

OPHELIA
No, my lord.

HAMLET
I mean, my head upon your lap?

OPHELIA
Ay, my lord.

HAMLET
Do you think I meant country matters?

OPHELIA
I think nothing, my lord.

HAMLET
That's a fair thought to lie between maids'
legs.

OPHELIA
What is, my lord?

HAMLET
Nothing.
